OVERVIEW
The mothers2mothers (m2m) Nigeria launch marked a pivotal moment for the expansion of one of Africa’s leading NGOs into Nigeria. The event celebrated m2m’s mission of empowering women living with HIV as Mentor Mothers to deliver community-based healthcare services. The launch focused on addressing critical health challenges such as pediatric HIV transmission, maternal health, and the broader goal of creating equitable access to healthcare for women, children, and adolescents in Nigeria.
PR Fusions was tasked with planning and executing the launch event, managing everything from media outreach and vendor coordination to onsite event logistics and post-event follow-up. The goal was to deliver an impactful, seamless experience for all stakeholders, including healthcare leaders, government officials, media outlets, and key partners.

Successfully launch m2m’s operations in Nigeria, highlighting the organization’s mission and impact.
Secure extensive media coverage to raise awareness about m2m’s work and its target to serve 5,000 clients by December 2024.
Ensure smooth event logistics, including vendor management, guest experiences, and media coordination.
Foster relationships between m2m and key stakeholders in Nigeria’s healthcare and public sectors.
SOLUTIONS
Comprehensive Event Planning: PR Fusions worked closely with m2m to develop a detailed event strategy that aligned with the organization’s mission and objectives. This included multiple site visits, extensive vendor coordination, and logistical planning to ensure all aspects of the event—from stage design to guest flow—were handled smoothly.
Media Outreach and PR Strategy: We developed a multi-channel PR strategy that involved early media outreach, follow-ups, and personalized press kits for key outlets. While 13 media outlets confirmed attendance, PR Fusions re-engaged media after the event to ensure coverage, resulting in 10 published articles across top-tier outlets.
Efficient Vendor and Volunteer Coordination: To manage the reduced setup time, PR Fusions closely coordinated with vendors to ensure the venue was ready on time. Our team also relied on a dedicated group of volunteers to manage guest registration, assist media personnel, and oversee the food and beverage service.
Creative Event Design: PR Fusions enhanced the guest experience through strategic event design, including a live art performance that captured m2m’s mission in real time. The event hall was transformed to reflect m2m’s branding, with the Mentor Mothers as the centerpiece of the storytelling.
